If you have ever had Popeye’s biscuits, you will know what I mean when I say that these are a really close match. Don’t be afraid of these because they are made from scratch. They are really very simple with only 4 ingredients. Make sure you pair this with the Bob Evans Sausage Gravy recipe also on here. We used our hand me down biscuit cutter which made very small biscuits. They came out really well.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Melt butter in 9×13 pan.
  2. Combine rest of the ingredients.
  3. Place dough on lightly floured surface and knead lightly.
  4. Pat or roll out to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut with biscuit cutter or glass.
  5. Place in the pan and turn over once making sure they are well coated in butter.
  6. Bake at 400° until brown. If you want you can drizzle a little extra butter on top if you think it needs more.
